Timothy J. Dempsey, 56,of Hopewell Twp., passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2015.
He was born on December 31, 1958 in Sewickley, a son of Harry H. Dempsey and the late Betty S. Dempsey and he was a member of Crestmont Alliance Church. For many years, Tim was a devoted caregiver to his parents. He enjoyed watching baseball and horse racing, he has been to the Ketucky Derby on several occasions.
In addition to his father, Timothy is survived by a son, Raymond Dempsey and his wife Vicki, Vacavile, CA; three brothers, Donald Dempsey and his wife Lynn, Upper St. Clair; Gary Dempsey and his wife Florence, Moon Twp.; and Robert Dempsey and his wife Gerilyn, Flemmington, NJ; an uncle and aunt, Robert and Lois Smith; seven nieces and nephews, Jason; Derek; Lauren; Joshua; Courtney; Sean; and Jesse.
Friends will be received on Friday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm in the Darroch Memorial Chapel, 2640 Mill Street, Aliquippa www.darrochfuneralhome.com where a funeral service will be conducted on Saturday at 11am.
Interment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
