Thelma I. Smith

Thelma I. Smith, 93, of Hopewell Twp., passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 in Beaver Elder Care.

She was born on February 5, 1922 in McKees Rocks, PA, a daughter of the late Harry and Mary (Lord) Kennedy.

In addition to her parents, Thelma was preceded in death by her husband, George N. Smith; a son, Kenneth L. Smith; a son-in-law, Peter J. “Joe” Caltury, Jr.; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Fred and Gertrude Kennedy; Leroy and Audrey Kennedy; and Kenneth and Anna Kennnedy; and a sister and brother-in-law, Vivian and Charles Wright.

She is survived by her daughter, Beverly Caltury, Hopewell Twp; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received on Friday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm in the Darroch Memorial Chapel, 2640 Mill Street, Aliquippa www.darrochfuneralhome.com where a funeral service will be conducted on Saturday at 10:30am with Pastor Kenn Jacobs officiating.

Interment will follow in Coraopolis Cemetery.
