Rose (Piroli) Demma

Rose Piroli Demma, 86, of Center Twp., passed away on Tuesday November 22, 2016 at Rochester Manor surrounded by her loving family. She is now at rest with her beloved husband Bernard of 69 years who preceded her in death in July of 2016.

Born on February 16, 1930 she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Paluzzi) Piroli. She was a member of the Aliquippa Hospital Ladies Auxiliary and also actively participated in local voting polls each year. She cared most about taking care of her family with her passion of cooking for them.

In addition to her parents and her husband; she is preceded in death by a daughter, Janice McMichael; and a brother John Piroli.

She is survived by two daughters Bernadette Mays and her husband, Dave of Economy; and Valerie Hallisey and her husband, James of Georgetown;  a sister, Marlene Sarver and her husband Robert of Aliquippa; a brother Art Piroli and his wife Ann of Aliquippa; a son-in-law, Pete McMichael of Center Twp. She is also beloved by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. And her beloved dog, Zipper.

Rose’s family would like to extend a special thank you to the entire staff of Rochester Manor and Mother Teresa Hospice for their devotion and care.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, November 30,  2016 from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm with a Catholic Prayer service to be held at 2p.m. and a  devotional service to be held at 7pm in the Darroch Memorial Chapel, 2640 Mill Street, Aliquippa, www.darrochfuneralhome.com.
