Ronald D. Suhayda

Ronald D. Suhayda, 68, of Baden, passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2015.

He was born on May 10, 1947 in Sewickley, a son of the late Sylvester and Olga (Fardo) Suhayda and he was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Baden.  Ronald retired from Robert Morris University where he worked in the admissions department for 27 years.  He also served in the U.S. Army.

Ronald is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Libby Suhayda, Baden; two sons, Jeff Suhayda and his wife Karen, Beaver; and Dave Suhayda and his wife Stephanie, Coraopolis; four grandchildren, Jonathan; Brandon; Abby; and Amelia; a sister, Debby Kokoski and her husband Ed; two uncles, Jack Fardo and his wife Joanne; and Bob Fardo and his wife Nancy; and an aunt, Lorraine Fardo.  He is also survived by numerous cousins and nieces.

Friends will be received on Thursday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm in the Darroch Memorial Chapel, 2640 Mill Street, Aliquippa www.darrochfuneralhome.com

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11:30am in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 377 Linmore Street, Baden, PA 15005.  Everyone please meet at the church.

Interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery.

The Beaver County Special Unit will meet at the cemetery on Friday at 1pm to conduct full military honors.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church; or to the Disabled Veterans Foundation.
