Richard Solkovy Obituary

Richard Luis Solkovy, 88, of Beaver Falls, passed away on Friday, April 6, 2018.

He was born on January 21, 1930 in Aliquippa, a son of the late Albert and Ida (Lagler) Solkovy. Richard was a member of House of Prayer Lutheran Church. He entered the adult training center through HAP in 1985 and he retired in 2016. He loved baseball and birds.

In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by two brothers, Albert Solkovy and Robert Solkovy; and a sister, Ida Edgar.

He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Elsie and James Farland; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday at 11am in House of Prayer Lutheran Church with Pastor Michael Sourwine officiating.

Private interment will take place in Millcreek Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to House of Prayer Lutheran Church, 2100 W. Irwin Street, Aliquippa, PA 15001.
