Rhoda Lee (Jumper) Miller

Rhoda Lee (Jumper) Miller, 46, of Hopewell Twp., passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2015.

Born October 20, 1968, the daughter of the late Charles and Ruth (D'Antonio) Jumper. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ, having been baptized in sunny California on June 25, 1987. A graduate of Hopewell High School and CCBC, she worked as a social worker for many agencies over a period of more than twenty years.

Rhoda, referred to as Aunt Toe by many, had a passion for baking and bargains. She could work a sale and some coupons into 50-70% discounts. She was well known among family and friends for her ability to entertain and the family's Christmas Brunch was always well attended.

Rhoda was ever a bright beacon of kindness and joy to those around her and her light will be sorely missed.

She is survived by her loving husband, Erik and her son William. Mother-in-law, Donna Miller, brother Bruce (Marty) Jumper, sister Joyceann (Dennis) Jumper, and close family friend Dennis (Odie) Smerigan. Brother and sister-in-law Karl (Shannon) Miller, niece Nora and nephew Kyle. Aunts: Janet Gula, Rose (Terry) Stoops and Eva Ondik. Uncles: Ed Eiler, Ken Jumper and Sela Palmieri.

In addition to hr parents, she was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Francis “Skip” Miller and her sister Carol Jumper.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the Darroch Memorial Chapel, 2640 Mill Street, Aliquippa, PA. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 10:30am at The Church of Jesus Christ, Ross Drive, Aliquippa.
