Nannette Madonna Brown, 49, of Swanton, MD, passed away in an accidental house fire, Monday, May 6, 2019.
She was born on August 9, 1969 in Aliquippa, PA, she is the daughter of Regina (Nesselrode) Madonna and James Madonna of South Heights.
Nan graduated from Ambridge Area High School in 1987 and became a Radiology Technologist through Aliquippa Hospital School of Radiology the following year. Nan chose employment in health care throughout her work life. She loved to garden and excelled at cooking for a crowd. She would often be found delivering pans of her specialties along with a big smile to family and friends. She will be remembered for her generous and resilient spirit.
Surviving in addition to her parents are her son, Tyler Miller; daughter and son-in-law Maddison (Miller) Santiago and Jonah Santiago; a brother, James Madonna, Jr.; sisters, Kathleen Madonna Emmerling and Peg Madonna; brothers-in-law, Ed Emmerling and Joel Brady; sisters-in-law, Christina Madonna, Kauline Brown and Deitra Galzarano; step-children Kirk Brown, Jr. (Tina), Michael Brown (Chelsea Kikel) and Misty Brown (Joe Leasha) and mother-in-law Jeanette (Mullen) Brown. Nan will be mourned by many beloved nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and devoted friends.
Nan was preceded in death by her husband, Ira Kirk Brown, father-in-law, Ira Brown, and step-son LeRoy Brown.
