Mildred (Millie) M. Pesich

October 8, 1931 ~ November 27, 2016 (age 85) 85 Years Old

Mildred (Millie) M. Pesich passed away on Sunday November 27, 2016. Born in Aliquippa on October 8, 1931 she was the daughter of the late Frank and Lucy (Vukovich) Pesich. Mildred lived in the original Pesich family home until her health contributed to her moving to an assisted living facility where she had resided for the past 3 1/2 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by all of her nine siblings; brothers; Matthew, John, Nick, Adam, Pete and Paul Pesich; sisters; Dorothy Kovacic, Helen Rosenberger, and Mary Vidonic; and a niece, Sharon Pesich.

A 1949 graduate of Hopewell High School, Millie was employed in the Tin Mill at LTV Steel in Aliquippa. She took great pride in her job and loved going to work there for 43 years. She also enjoyed cooking and provided many delicious meals to her family. Millie was a sport enthusiast, and a great fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates, and Notre Dame.

Millie was a lifelong member of St. Titus Catholic Church, Aliquippa and the Croation CFU.

Surviving her is a sister in law, Norma Pesich of Aliquippa, PA; and nineteen nieces and nephews that Millie thought of as her own. Lebanon, PA; Elaine Stevens, Ligonier, PA; Lauren (DeeDee) Bensink, Moon Twp., PA; Lisa Zahn, Aliquippa, PA; Lori Gregory, Aliquippa, PA; Frank Pesich, Aliquippa, PA; Karen Pesich, Mt. Lebanon, PA; Bernandette DiMartile, Buffalo, NY; Paul Rosenberger, Aliquipa, PA; Luciann Vidonic, Aliquippa,PA; Vanessa Vidonic, Aliquippa, PA; Michele Vidonic, Aliquippa, PA; Bill Vidonic, Aliquippa, PA; and Mark Vidonic, Fort Mill, SC. She is also survived by many great-nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received on Wednesday November 30, 2016 from 6pm-8pm in the Darroch Memorial Chapel, 2640 Mill Street, Aliquippa, www.darrochfuneralhome.com where closing prayers will be offered on Thursday December 1, 2016 at 10:30am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Titus Catholic Church at 11:00am.

Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery.

Millie dedicated her life to caring for her parents and brothers and sisters… Finally they will all reunite. The family chain was broken and nothing seemed the same but as God called you all one by one the chain is linked again.
