Mary Theresa David

Mary Theresa David, 94, of Hopewell Twp., passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2015.

She was born on June 1, 1921 in Springfield, MA a daughter of the late Charles and Sarah Assad and she was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church.  Mary was the assistant manager at her late  husband’s restaurant, David’s Inn in Leetsdale.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James M. David; three brothers, and three sisters.

Mary is survived by a son, Ret. Brigadier General James J. David, Marietta, GA; a daughter, Jeanne Vono and her husband Tony, South Park, PA; four grandchildren, Lea Grondziowski and her husband Peter; Mia Munsell and her husband Randy; Jody Blackburn; and James Edward David; and four great grandchildren, Mara; Marena; Jenna; and Madeline.

Friends will be received on Thursday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm in the Darroch Memorial Chapel, 2640 Mill Street, Aliquippa www.darrochfuneralhome.com where prayers will be offered on Friday at 11:00 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM in Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church.
