Marlene G. Furguivelle

Marlene G. Furguivelle, 77, of Monaca, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 29, 2015.

She was born on March 5, 1938 in Sewickley, PA, a daughter of the late Harry, Sr. and Irene (Devaney) Suttelle and she was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Monaca.  Over the years, she volunteered at the Beaver County Humane Society.

Marlene was a devoted wife for 26 years.  After the passing of her beloved husband, Marlene did not sit still.  She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family.  She looked forward to taking bus trips, gambling, dining out, shopping and going to the movies.  She had a great group of friends whom she cherished dearly.  She loved and was especially proud of her four great nieces.  She was an avid animal lover and treated her dog  Leeper like her child. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Joe in 1995. 

She is survived by her brother, Harry E. Suttelle, Jr., and his wife, Victoria, of Raccoon Townnship.  She is also survived by a nephew, Harry E. Suttelle, III and his wife Erica, Raccoon Township,  a niece, April Katsafanas and her husband Jim, Center Township; and great nieces Aubrey and Ashlyn Suttelle and Autumn and Amber Katsafanas. 

Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm in the Darroch Memorial Chapel, 2640 Mill Street, Aliquippa www.darrochfuneralhome.com where a Blessing Service will be conducted on Thursday at 2:00PM

Entombment will follow in Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Beaver County Humane Society, 3394 Brodhead Road, Center Twp., PA 15001.
