Loretta V. Palen

Loretta V. Palen, 88, of Aliquippa, passed away on Friday, March 25, 2016.

She was born on January 5, 1928 in Aliquippa, a daughter of the late Paul and Yadwiga “Lillian” Palen and she was a member of St. Titus Catholic Church where she was also a member of the Confraternity of Christian Mothers and she was a volunteer at Titan Hall.  Loretta worked as a cashier for Philip Recht and she also worked in the Beaver County Assessment Office. 

In addition to her parents, Loretta was preceded in death by four sisters, Mary Kost; Jenevieve Palen; Ann Palen; and Wanda Estok.

She cherished her family and is survived by nieces and nephews, Irwin Kost; David Kost; Larry Kost; Jeanne Estok; Don Estok; and Greg Estok.  She is also survived by several great nieces and great nephews.

Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm in the Darroch Memorial Chapel, 2640 Mill Street, Aliquippa www.darrochfuneralhome.com where prayers will be offered on Wednesday at 10:30am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in St. Titus Catholic Church.

Interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery.
