Joan M. Scoutus

Joan M. Scoutus, 83, of Center Twp., passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2015.

She was born on June 12, 1932 in Ambridge, PA a daughter of the late John Sr. and Laura (Stachowicz) Kuzma and she was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church where she was also a member of the Confraternity of Christian Mothers.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Nadine Scoutus; and a brother, John Kuzma, Jr..

Joan is survived by her husband, George D. Scoutus, Center Twp.; a daughter, Kristine Bartoletta and her husband Samuel, Center Twp.; two grandchildren, Nicole and Dana Bartoletta; two brothers, Richard Kuzma and his wife Debbie, Baden; and Robert “Reds” Kuzma and his wife Vera, of Oregon; and a sister, Shirley Kuzma, Ambridge.  She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received for a memorial gathering on Tuesday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm in the Darroch Memorial Chapel, 2640 Mill Street, Aliquippa www.darrochfuneralhome.com

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 1:00 PM in St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church.  (Everyone please meet at the church)
