JoAnn Kristian

JoAnn Kristian, 80, of West Aliquippa, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 21, 2015 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on November 17, 1934 in Darlington, PA, a daughter of the late Joseph and Frances (Verner) Lombardo, and the late Mary (D’Antonio) Lombardo; and she was a member of St. Titus Catholic Church.

In addition to her parents, JoAnn was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters, Dolly Bryne; Patrick Brizzi; Vincent Brizzi; Adam Tonio; Ed and Kay Tonio; Joe and Mary Jane D’Antonio; Cecelia and Richard Lucci; and Sylvan and Theresa D’Antonio.

She is survived by her loving husband, Joseph C. “Sonny”  Kristian, Sr.; four children, Diane and Mark Biega; Dana and Chris LaSala; Joe and Nancy Kristian; and David and Pam Kristian; five grandchildren, Breanna and Brad McKibben; Sam Kristian; Kristian Biega; Anthony LaSala; and Nicholas Kristian; a great granddaughter, Ellianna McKibben; a sister, Patti and Aldo Legge; two brothers, Pat and Elaine D’Antonio; and Robert and Lena D’Antonio; a brother-in-law, Tom and Sue Kristian; and a sister-in-law, Theresa Frederick.  JoAnn is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Friends will be received on Monday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm in the Darroch Memorial Chapel, 2640 Mill Street, Aliquippa www.darrochfuneralhome.com where prayers will be offered on Tuesday at 10:30am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in St. Titus Catholic Church.

Entombment will follow in Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery.
