James D. Colwell

James D. Colwell, 71, of Hopewell Twp., passed away on Monday March 21, 2016.

He was born on November 3, 1944 in Vandergrift, PA, a son of the late James and Irene (Deemer) Colwell and he was retired from U.S. Airways after 40 years of service.  James loved classic cars and he enjoyed spending time with friends at the area car cruises over the years.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy  (Hartzell) Colwell; three daughters, Courtney Colwell; Carrie Colwell; and Megan Colwell; and three grandchildren, Tyler; Max; and Harrison.

Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm in the Darroch Memorial Chapel, 2640 Mill Street, Aliquippa www.darrochfuneralhome.com where a funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11am with Pastor Rich Liptak officiating.

Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
