Harry H. Dempsey

Harry H. Dempsey, 94, of Hopewell Twp., passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2016.

He was born on August 19, 1921 in Jonesboro, TN, a son of the late James and Sally Dempsey and he was a member of Crestmont Alliance Church.  Harry was retired from RB&W in Coraopolis where he worked  for 46 years.  He also served in the U.S. Air Force.

In addition to his parents, Harry was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Dempsey; a son, Timothy Dempsey; six brothers, Sam, Kyle, Jay, Omar, Ted, and Ralph; and three sisters, Gladys, Sue, and Beulah.

He is survived by three sons, Donald Dempsey and his wife Lynn, Upper St. Clair; Gary Dempsey and his wife Florence, Moon Twp.; and Robert Dempsey and his wife Gerilyn, Flemmington, NJ; eight grandchildren, Jason, Derek, Lauren, Josh, Courtney, Sean, Jesse, and Raymond and his wife Vicki; and a great grandson, Graham.

Friends will be received on Monday from 2-4pmand 6-8pm in the Darroch Memorial Chapel, 2640 Mill Street, Aliquippa www.darrochfuneralhome.com where a funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday at 11am.

Entombment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
