Gloria H. (Ciccone) DiCenzo

Gloria H. (Ciccone) DiCenzo, 89, of  Center Twp., formerly of West Aliquippa, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 25, 2016 in her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on February 24, 1927 in West Aliquippa, a daughter of the late Crescenzo and Maria Ciccone and she was a member of St. Titus Catholic Church and the former St. Joseph Catholic Church in West Aliquippa.  She was also a member of the Confraternity of Christian Mothers,  the Catholic Daughters of America, Sons of Italy – Anita Garibaldi Lodge, and the St. Anthony Congregation.

In addition to her parents, Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert F. DiCenzo; a daughter-in-law, Sharon DiCenzo; two brothers, Raymond Ciccone and Louis Ciccone; and two sisters, Viola Cercone  and Diana Francis.

She is survived by two sons, Anthony DiCenzo, Indianapolis, IN; and Gilbert DiCenzo and his wife Patricia, Palm Springs; a daughter, Maria Costello and her husband Marty, Hopewell Twp.;three grandchildren, Bryan and Mark Costello; and Lora Patterson and her husband Patrick;  a great grandson, Reed Anthony Patterson;  a sister, Laura Lombardi; a sister-in-law, Lillian DiCenzo Federico; and two dear cousins, Mary DiGiandomenico, and Amelia Fronzaglia.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received on Wednesday from 5-8pm and on Thursday from 2-8pm in the Darroch Memorial Chapel, 2640 Mill Street, Aliquippa www.darrochfuneralhome.com where prayers will be offered on Friday at 9am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30am in St. Titus Catholic Church.

Entombment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
