Franklin E Hornung

Franklin E. Hornung, 84, of Aliquippa, passed away on Saturday December 24, 2016 at his residence.

Born on September 19, 1932, the son of the late Joseph and Beatrice (Day) Hornung, and was a retiree from US Air where he worked as a lead mechanic through out his life.

Franklin is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Eileen (Collins) Hornung of Aliquippa; two daughters Barbara Zebich of Independence Twp., Shirley Cole of Tennessee; a son, Robert Hornung of Williams town New Jersey; eight grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; a brother, Joseph Hornung of Phoenix Arizona; a sister Joan Randall of Alden New York.

Friends will be received on Monday December 26, 2016 from 6pm-8pm and on Tuesday December 27, 2016 from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm in the Darroch Memorial Chapel Inc., 2640 Mill Street, Aliquippa PA 15001. www.darrochfuneralhome.com.
