Emma Kishel

Emma Kishel, 96, formerly of Aliquippa, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Hospital on Boardman, OH.

She was born on April 19, 1918 in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Louis and Barbara (Kuliberg) Hoffer and she was a member of House of Prayer Evangelical Lutheran Church in Aliquippa.  Emma also enjoyed playing golf, bridge, and traveling.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank P. Kishel; and two brothers, Michael Hoffer; and Joseph Hoffer.

She is survived by her loving son, Frank J. Kishel and his wife Theresa, Boardman, OH; three grandchildren, Christen Kishel; Stephen Kishel and his wife Jodi; and Jennifer Lewis and her husband Timothy; and three great grandchildren, Jocelyn Koziorynski; Thomas Koziorynski; and Mason Lewis.

Friends will be received on Tuesday from 10am until the time of funeral service at 11am in House of Prayer Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2100 Irwin Street, Aliquippa.

Interment will follow in Beaver Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to your local Rotary Club in Emma’s name.
