Anne Staniland

Anne M. Staniland, 98, of Aliquippa, passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2015.

She was born on March 4, 1917 in Aliquippa, a daughter of the late James and Mary (Scarazzo) Samuel and she was a member of St. Titus Catholic Church.  Anne loved music and taught herself to play the organ, she enjoyed sewing and spending time with her friends.

In addition to her parents, Anne was preceded in death by her husband, Roy H. Staniland; and  three brothers, August, Joseph, and Julius Samuel.

She is survived by nephews and nieces, Vincent, Joseph, John, and Anthony Samuel; Maryann Psomas; Christina (Brian) Martin; Bernadette (Donald) Samuel; and Irene (Keith) George; and great niece and nephews, Natalie and Brian Martin; and Eyan George.

A blessing service will be conducted on Friday at 11am in the lower mausoleum chapel of Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
