Anna E. Ware, 88, formerly of Hopewell Twp. And Litchfield Park, AZ, , passed away on Monday, December 8, 2014 in Beaver Meadows Assisted Living.
She was born on December 11, 1925 in Eichstatt, Germany, a daughter of the late Fritz and Johanna Thumm. Anna moved to the United States in 1952 and was a member of Oak Grove Church of Christ. She retired from Westinghouse where she worked for 23 years. Anna enjoyed cooking, baking, and gardening. She won first prize several years in a row in the Arizona State Fair Cookie Competition
In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon Molinaro; a grandson, Aaron Marchak; and her long time companion, Fred Kalway
She is survived by two daughters, Estrella Croft and her husband Joe, Center Twp; and Iris Maire and her husband Doug, Litchfield Park, AZ; and four grandchildren, Tera Bevilacqua and her husband Abraham, Carnegie, PA; Sheena Maire, Seattle, WA; Derek Maire, Tempe, AZ; and Corissa Croft, Tempe, AZ.
A Memorial Service will be conducted on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 1:00PM in the Oak Grove Church of Christ, 169 Ashwood Drive, Industry, PA 15052.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Association for the Blind; or to Beaver Meadows Assisted Living.
